I am wondering how much difference there is in ride, fish ability, etc... Few large mammals enjoy so many common names as the puma (Puma concolor), the second-largest cat in the Americas after the jaguar. This supple and muscular hunter has an enormous range -- from the Yukon to Patagonia -- which may partly explain all the nomenclatural variety. In popular usage, “cougar” and “mountain ... SLAR, an exposition for the non SouthAmerican.

2019.12.16 04:29 jef_diaz SLAR, an exposition for the non SouthAmerican.

The SLAR have been announced a couples of weeks ago and I have only seen a couples of posts about it, and no very in-depth ones, so this is an (probably very poor) attempt on that.
(Please, in regards of the orthography and grammatic, be understanding that English is my second language and I learned it on my own.)
To start, SLAR means “Super Liga Americana de Rugby” (Super American Rugby League would be the translation), the competition is starting on the final days of February 2020 going until May-June 2020. The format of the competition is similar to Super Rugby, as they are not actual Rugby Clubs or School’s teams, they are franchises that will represent some of the Rugby Unions that are part of the confederation “Sudamérica Rugby” (but is very possible that in a future, just like Super Rugby, each Union will have different franchises, in the mean time each one only have one).

This are every Franchise confirmed for the 2020 season:
The Format for the first season of the SLAR:
For the following season, the 2021, is expected that Cafeteros will form part of the competition from the 1st phase and some other franchises will be added (some rumors say that it will be the Uruguayan "Club Nacional de Football" and other argentine franchise).

Now, onto my personal opinion of all this:
With what we have seen until now, I have high hopes for this competition but at the same time I’m very cautious, it can really help the quality of the national teams of the continent, but at the same time there are rumors of the different franchises putting contract on the table, not only for Argentinians, as they are definitely a level above all of the other countries, but for players from Fiji and Samoa for example, and that can make things a little messy and take places from young players from the south American countries if we are not careful, and with that slow down the progress of the national teams.
And with that I end this post, I hope you guys and girls like this, I spent a couple of hours collecting the information and links to do this instead of studying for the test that I have on Tuesday. Much Love.
Pd: you can see a “bias” on the quantity of information on the Olimpia Lions part, the reason for that being that I’m Paraguayan, that’s all.

Super Friday Arena Mexico Highlights
Puebla was better than it has been lately overall, but was still nothing stellar. Hopefully next weeks card which has gold on the line can break that streak of not having anything great. Tuesday and Friday both delivered this week. With the title match Friday night being the main highlight of the week obviously. So let's get to the best of the week.

1.Cuatrero © vs Angel de Oro for the CMLL World Middleweight Championship(Friday)

Might be my MOTY atm. This was a great match which built upon the previous matches we got from these two. This really felt like two rivals who are well acquianted with one another. Great counters from both men as well as great dives from both of them. I really have nothing to say on this match that's negitive. Both men leave looking like a million bucks even if one decisively lost.

2.La Park, El Hijo de La Park & Volador Jr. vs. Los ingobernables(Rush, Bestia del Ring & Terrible)(Friday)

Another great showing for Park and his son. Glad to see them in the same match. The two should work out some team spots. Rush and his dad have some and this rivalry seems like it's going til at least September and pairing Park with his son seems like a natural idea. CMLL last year did a family tournment and with both Park's in CMLL seems like they could do that again. Wasn't as great as last week, but the ending seemed like it was meant to make it not as great. It's simple, Park and Rush don't want Super Libre(No Rules), they need it. This war cannot finish with rules in tact cause as shown in the last two weeks... neither man/team will respect the rules regardless.

3.Puma, Tiger & Okumura vs. Rey Cometa, Drone & Guerrero Maya Jr.(Friday)

Puma and Tiger continue to be tons of fun. Cometa and Puma were really feuding here. Don't think that will lead to much on television. Though Puma has a regional belt, so maybe they are hot here for a title match off TV for that belt? That's some meta thinking though and doesn't matter for the average fan. I'd like to see Puma/Tiger go for those Coliseo Tag Titles that Esfinge and Triton hold, but who knows if that will happen or again if it'll happen on TV. The catch by Puma in this match is great and probably my favorite CMLL spot this week.

4.Blue Panther, Blue Panther Jr. & The Panther vs Dragon Rojo Jr., Polvora & Kawato San (Tuesday)

The Panther Dynasty have an impressive showing here. I liked the match and really think Rojo/Polvora might be the best rudo tag team right now. I think Rojo does the heavy lifting, but Polvora works really well in trios matches where he doesn't have to be the focus of the whole match. Their finishes are normally pretty solid as well and of course they have the best entrance in wrestling today. I could see them being the team that challanges for either of CMLL's tag titles. They could probably have a great match with either team too. Dragon Rojo and Polvora drop their 6-7(as a team) match winning streak on TV to an angry Panther after the papa Panther ate a diving foot stomp. Was a nice way of ending a streak and a big moment for The Panther. Even if it will likely be forgotten since it wasn't on Friday Night.
5.Felino, Luciferno & Ephesto vs Stuka Jr., Titan & Triton(Tuesday)
Another great trios match. Triton is really one of the best guys on the roster. I'm glad he has gold, but I worry that with it being Coliseo tag titles he might not be in the Universal tournament which would be great for him. It worries me Esfinge wasn't here and I hope it's not serious and is just CMLL trying to squeeze Stuka/Titan on the show. Though Titan is working RoH the next day in NYC so you'd think he could be off this show.

Did you watch CMLL this week? If you skipped out I would suggest checking out Fridays show. It was a pretty solid show, with maybe just the opener being without note. The Title match from Friday is a MUST watch as far as I'm concerned. Week 2 of La Park didn't surpass week 1, but it seemed design to under show to make us yearn for a Super Libre match with a more decisive finish. Both this week and last weeks match ended with using a weapon. It's just this week the rudos were caught and last week the tecnicos weren't. Both Arena Mexico shows were good and Puebla actually took an uptick. This week was probably one of the better ones in recent memory, but didn't have a big high like a Finals or La Park reappearing. Cuatrero/Oro was great though and might fly under the radar.
Monday Arena Puebla Poster
Openers are some guys I don't know much about. Electrico and Astral might pull up their low midcard match. I really enjoyed Tigre Rojo Jr. the last time he appeared in Puebla like 2 weeks ago. Rudos are some... not so great guys. Think this might be Zeuxis last CMLL date... so I guess that might be interesting. Maya/Triton/Stigma sounds fun and Puma is always great. Weird to see him without brother Tiger next to him, but Okumura/Kawato are both fun. NGD vs Demons for the Mexican National Trios Titles should be fun. While NGD feel like obvious winners here, I could honestly see Demons win to free up NGD for the CMLL Trios Titles which are a higher Trios Title. Volador, Felino & Soberano Jr. vs Mr. Niebla, Titan & Cavernario is a bizarre team choice with 2 tecnicos + rudo vs 2 rudos + tecnico. That might make this fun, but I don't expect any stories to stem from this match. Just for it to be a fun throw away match. I don't think this should close tbh, cause if Demons win the belts this match will be a complete afterthought for most watching live or online.
Arena Mexico Tuesday Poster
Sangre Imperial + Retro in the opener should make it fun. Mixed bag for the 2nd. I really enjoy Coyote and Starman. Luchadoras 3rd with Jaarochita and Meligna being people I haven't seen much. Cometa vs Esfinge lightning match should be good, I'll be pulling for the masked Esfinge personally. Cometa tied in his last lightning match with Maya who is pretty compareable to Esfinge. Panther Dynasty vs Demons should be good and might include new Mexican National Trios Champions if things swing their way Monday so this could be a quick new feud if they got the belts put around their waist. Atlantis, Angel de Oro & Titan vs Rey Bucanero, Gran & Euforia should be a fun contest and Gran/Euforia did a pretty good job as a team last Tuesday too.
Super Friday Arena Mexico Poster
Oro/Star take on resident opener rudo team Raziel and Cancerbero.
Drone/Fuego/Triton vs Puma/TigeVirus could be pretty great. Fuego got a singles win over Virus last week and that could play into this match.
Titan/Soberano/Audaz is a dream team taking on NGD who could lose their team belt Monday or could have it hear thus maybe leading this into a title program. With these three tecnicos who don't really have team affliations.
Stuak Jr. vs Hechicero could steal the show both men being underrated CMLL talents who tend to pull out great matches.
Flyer is sadly off the card this week. Still we get Mistico/Caristico/Fenix vs Ultimo/Negro Casas/Barbaro Cavernario in what should be a really fun debut for Fenix.
La Park/Volly JEl Hijo de La Park vs Ingobernables(Rush/Terrible/Bestia del Ring) rematch from last week. La Park asked for Super Libre(No DQ), but atm this doesn't say that. We could see it announced as such on Informa, but I wouldn't count on this. I could see this match being breif with DQ's to make the No DQ stipulation something CMLL has to do cause they just won't finish a match without using weapons or what have you.
Hope You enjoyed CMLL this week, see you next week!

Super Friday Arena Mexico Highlights
Puebla was weak again, but was kept from being completely skippable by NGD once again. Who will probably prove to be Puebla's saving grace again as they are doing a rematch vs the demons next week. Ultimo/Stuka Jr. had a barn burner Tuesday and of course Friday saw the return of La Park and the debut of his son. Really a stacked week with Friday again being one of the best shows of the year. I know I'd said that the last 3 weeks, but it's been a very good May for CMLL.

1.La Park, Volador Jr. & Flyer vs. Ingobernables(Rush, Terrible & Bestia del Ring)(Friday)

What else could it have been? La Park came into CMLL for this run, not with a whimper but with a bang. A brawly balls to the walls bang that brought down the house of Arena Mexico. I was worried about La Park/Rush being able to work in CMLL and they in one match put that worry to bed. It was a great match and I loved how basically the story of the match ended with, "La Park/Rush will not end their blood feud unless things get ratcheted up via a chair to the head to Rush." I'm not condoning chair shots and this one looked pretty protected, but it really didn't feel like the Rush/Park war was going to end by conventional means. I can't wait to see how they kick it up a gear when they meet in next week's main event Friday Night.

2.Ultimo Guerrero (c) vs. Stuka Jr. for the NWA World Historic Middleweight Championship(Tuesday)

Ultimo Guerrero is one of my favorites of all time and Stuka Jr. is an underrated upper mid card guy that just needs a push. This was a fun match to show what both men could do. Despite Ultimo Guerrero retaining here, I think the end was very much designed to protect Stuka Jr. and not make him come off as a chump which I appreciate. I thought Ultimo would retain, but this contest was close enough that Stuka Jr. seems just inches away from winning time and time again especially in the closing moments.

3.Angel de Oro, Soberano Jr. & El Hijo de La Park vs NGD(Sanson, Cuatrero & Forastero)(Friday)

I was torn and almost put NGD vs Demons here instead. In both cases the matches showcase how good NGD are as a team and how quickly all three of them are growing. I think in due time Universo 2000 Jr. will join the team, but he needs a way to get written in. He is going to have to be working 150% though, because NGD are one of the toughest acts in the business. He doesn't want to join the group and be the slouch of the 4.

4.NGD(Sanson, Cuatrero & Forastero) vs. El Hijos del Infierno(Mephisto, Luciferno & Ephesto)(Monday)

Earlier I called them the saviors of Puebla and that stands here. They really kept that show from being pretty skippable. I put this as 4th not because it's a lesser match, but because the finish and that they are going to do it again next week and probably try to out do this. So this comes in 4th just behind the other NGD match this week that had a debut as well.

5.Audaz, Drone & Fuego vs Puma, Tiger & Kawato San(Friday)

Rarely a week goes by without Puma in the top 5 and that trend continues. A great match, maybe even the best out of the 5. It of course suffers though that none of these guys are doing any stories at the moment. Kawato has teamed often with Puma/Tiger so maybe he will join them? Not a guarantee, but It would be better than being in the "You guys are both asian" team that most young lions do with Okumura.

Obviously, the headline of the week is about Park with his match really hitting it out of the park(pun not intended) and his son having a fun match right before that. Making basically the last 40-60 minutes of Super Friday must watch.
Monday Arena Puebla Poster
Openers are some guys I don't know much about.
Rey Samuray again on the undercard. Vs Gemelos Pantera who are some pretty new faces.
Pantera Blanca is in the next match vs Rojo/Pólvora/Universo 2000 Jr.
Rematch from last week NGD vs El Hijos del Infierno
Mistico/Volly/Soberano vs La Peste Negra(Felino said he left the group months ago, but I don't think that really stuck since here he is with them)
Ultimo Guerrero vs Terrible backlash from last week where Terrible threw away his teams trios match by kicking Ultimo below the belt.
Arena Mexico Tuesday Poster
Minis tag opens, then Starman/Pegasso/Star Jr. vs Signo/Espanto/Akuma is an interesting undercard match.
Panther Clan vs Rojo/Polvora/Kawato San, should be good with Polvora/Rojo being undefeated in team action since Rojo returned from injury over a month ago. (Unless they lose on Monday)
Fuego/Virus should be a good lightning match, my money is on Virus who is a big bad rudo for the midcard and normally is a bigger deal.
Ephesto/Luciferno/Felino vs Titan/Stuka JTriton should be fun, even if it's a hodgepodge of guys for both teams.
Ditto for the main events which sees Casas and 2 Guerreros vs Atlantis and 2/3rds of Skyteam.
Super Friday Arena Mexico Poster
Opening is some noteable low card guys in a trios.
Drone/Cometa/Maya vs Puma/TigeOkumura could be pretty fun, as Puma matches often are.
Roja/Azul/Soberano Jr. vs ShockeBucanero/Hechiero is going to mostly rely on tecnicos and Hechicero to be good.
Angel de Oro is challinging Cuatrero (c) for his Middleweight title. Which Cuatrero won off Angel de Oro back at January's Fantasticamania tour of Japan.
Caristico/Mistico/Flyer vs Ultimo/Sanson/Forastero will be a good time. It's nice to see Flyer just get bumped down 1 match on the card and not disappearing completely... like Templario.
La Park/Volly JEl Hijo de La Park vs Ingobernables(Rush/Terrible/Bestia del Ring) should be another great main event and it will be nice to see Park and son fighting side by side. I'd expect another wild brawl to insue and don't be surprised if Rush gets some measure of payback for the chair shot Volador Jr. gave him at the tail end of last week's main event.
Hope You enjoyed CMLL this week, see you next week!

Super Friday Arena Mexico Highlights
A strong start of the week in Puebla and Arena Mexico didn't carry the momentum over to the flagship Super Friday show. Hopefully the same issue won't happen next Friday which will mark the 62nd Anniversary for Arena Mexico and has a pretty stacked card to celebrate. Including a hair vs hair luchadora match and the first ever time Kraneo/Rush will meet one on one. Enough about next week, let's at what stole the show this week. Not doing ten this week, but we didn't have half a dozen short and sweet singles matches.

1.Flyer vs. Magia Blanca, New Values Cup Finals(Tuesday)

When so much of this week feels very much like build, like most of Friday's show, it's nice to have something with finality in it. Which of course was here in the tournament finals. A great new showcase for both guys involved with one taking away a trophy at the end of the night. Good flying from both guys, no doubt the match of the tournament, though being 2/3 falls it's also the longest. This tournament was the singles debut of Magia Blanca and considering, he did a fantastic job here.

2.Pegasso, Blue Panther Jr. & The Panther vs. Templario, Puma & Tiger(Friday)

An excellent trios match. No doubt the best from the week. The last month have had some fantastic trios and that trend continues. Puma/TigePanther Bros are some of my favorites and Templario gelled fantastically with Puma and Tiger. Every fall here was a painting of great teamwork and strength. It never felt like any of these 6 men dropped a note. Great action from start to finish.

3.NGD(Sanson, Cuatrero & Forastero) vs. Dragon Lee, Niebla Roja & Angel de Oro(Monday)

Great trios action with all of NGD which is nice to see. Brothers Sanson and Cuatrero inviting their cousin to Puebla. They also have great tecnicos to work with. Dragon Lee, Niebla Roja and Angel de Oro who has has the highest profile match vs Cuatrero. It has some very crisp action and a clean finish. It seemed like they could have easily pulled Sanason winning cheaply again, but instead let the trio stable win over the other brother and Dragon Lee.

4.Felino, Puma, Tiger & Stigma vs. Pantera Blanca Jr., Los Gemelos Pantera I & II, & Stuka Jr.(Friday)

Any other weeke CMLL pulling an atomicos out of their ass would probably rank higher. In fact if TigePuma didn't knock it out of the park Friday night this would have ranked higher too obviously. Not sure when we will see Pantera Blanca Jr. or the Gemelos either. Still this was a fun car crash of a match with people going crazy dive after dive after dive. Lots of great fun, even if it gets crazy at that ending stretch. It's also nice to see Felino teaming with his sons.

5.Audaz, Super Astro Jr. & Star Jr. vs. Virus, Disturbio & Universo 2000 Jr.(Tuesday)

You could as for a better trio of midcard tecnicos. I love these guys and think Star Jr./Super Astro Jr. could make a world class tag team. Audaz is obviously being groomed to do something great and a program with Virus might be that something great. Super Astro Jr. and Star Jr. looked fine, but this match was a little short. Still, in the time they did have they put on a very good match.

Super Friday Highlights :
Did you watch CMLL this week? If you skipped out I would suggest the earlier shows in the week. With Friday really being a 1 card show rather than watch that full card just stop one you have finished the match Puma was in. Puma and Tiger had a great week and are really showing why CMLL should give them a push. Those guys are so good, it's great to have them on TV one, let alone twice. The tournament finals on Tuesday are no doubt the take away from this week. Hopefully both Magia Blanca and Flyer are treated more seriously moving forward from their great finals match.
Monday Arena Puebla Poster
Undercard looks a pretty weak with Principe Diamante appearing again for the 1st time since his New Values Tournament performance. Kaho/Dalys should be a good and an improvement on the formula they used last week in their lightning match. La Peste Negra vs. Azul/Atlantis/Soberano has potential to be a show stealer. Main event is a bit of a cluster, but could be lots of fun considering those involved. I'd assume Kraneo looks strong here to keep momentum up going into his singles match Friday Night.
Arena Mexico Tuesday Poster
Mini's are opening the show. Good second with Raziel/Cancerbero being pretty common in that spot. Fuego vs The Panther should be a fun tecnico/tecnico lightning match. Audaz/Cometa/Maya vs Rojo/Pólvora & Templario should be great and marks the 1st time Polvora/Rojo team since Rojo came back from injury. Terrible/Bestia/Hechicero vs Mascara Ano 2000, Ephesto & Luciferno is a bit bizarre rudo vs rudo match and could prove to be fun. Main Event seems pretty status quo, but features high profile guys who are good and doing their jobs and will likely put up a good performance here.
Super Friday Poster for Arena Mexico 62nd Anniversary
Not to be confused with CMLL Anniversary which will be happening in September and will be the 85th Anniversary. Still this is an occasion even if it's not the biggest of the company. They have stacked this card to make it feel like a big deal. It should stream and upload on youtube like any other Friday Broadcast. Opener is much better than normal, it'll likely continue the Audaz/Virus feud. Dragon Lee, Stuka, & Soberano Jr. vs NGD has all the potential in the world on paper. Sugehit vs Seductora match has no hype from me, but might surprise me. Oro/Roja/Azul vs. Terrible/Hechicero/Bucanero could be lots of fun with Oro/Roja being fun most outings. Rush vs Kraneo has more hype from me and might even lead to a hair vs mask match. Mistico/Atlantis/Volador Jr. vs Negro Casas/Barbaro/Ultimo is pretty stacked, but I could see it as a way to plant seeds for a new rivalry.
Hope You enjoyed CMLL this week, see you next week!

Super Friday Arena Mexico Report!
Super Friday Arena Mexico Highlights
What a stacked week from CMLL! I wasn't really expecting much from the Friday show, but it really delivered above and beyond what I expected. The Coliseo tag team champions Esfinge and Triton really bringing it in their match Friday night in an excellent trios match. Lots of great matches and despite not having having a 4th show this week like they did last week. I have a top ten again this week! This will not happen all weeks, but this week was just bursting with matches because of Tuesday's tournament matches. So again, let's get to the best matches of this week in CMLL.

1.Dragon Lee vs. Mephisto(Tuesday)

In a match where Dragon Lee's older brother Mistico met a man he is destined to have a mask vs mask match vs some time down the line in Caristico, Dragon Lee stole his thunder by having a war with Mephisto. Both men came into this and leave this match as champions. This wasn't for gold, but pride after last week when Mephisto's team beat Dragon Lee's team 2-0. Which Mephisto accomplished by pulling on Lee's mask and rolling him up. They met one on one and it was just a grueling battle where both men shed blood, sweat and tears. No screwy finishes, just one of the best tecnicos vs one of the best rudos in a 2/3 falls match that was near perfect.

2.Dragon Rojo Jr., Okumura & Kawato San vs. Titan, Esfinge, & Triton(Friday)

An excellent trios match. No doubt the best from the week. Up there with last weeks #1 match which was a title match. This didn't have any gold on the line, but did include Esfinge and Triton who are current Coliseo Tag Champions. I could see them defend those titles vs Kawato/Rojo or Kawato/Okumura. Don't know if that would even be on TV since the tournament that Esfinge/Triton won to be crowned wasn't on TV. Really enjoyed this match and with the exception of Kawato missing a catch, this was a fairly flawless match and was given plenty of time to breath and work within.

3.Mistico vs. Caristico(Monday)

A first time ever between two guys who are destined to meet in a mask vs mask match down the line. Both being big enough to be an Anniversary main event for sure. People call Mistico Pirata(Pirate) for stealing the mask/gimmick. I don't agree and am entirely on the Mistico side of the fence. This is obviously a preview for a better match we will get later, but for a preview match it's great. I'm glad this had a finish that was clean and not a cop out. I expected something inconclusive and am glad CMLL didn't do that, cause it made the match better to have a real finish instead of dodging who to put over.

4.Soberano Jr. vs Negro Casas, lightning match(Friday)

Most other weeks this could have been the best match. It lands here at 4th, but is still great. Really this match and the ones above it are MUST WATCH! The ending of this match is what sorta makes it slide down the ranks. All the action is good though and both men impress. Though Negro Casas probably more so showing how good he still is at 58. He makes Soberano actually chain wrestle which isn't really his wheelhouse, but Soberano Jr. kept up with the old rudo. Hope these two get a full match, but I want to see Negro Casas have one on ones with any young tecnicos in CMLL to be honest.

5.Ultimo Guerrero, Euforia, Mephisto vs Caristico, Volador Jr. & Valiente(Friday)

A breakneck battle that goes a mile a minute. Probably could have used more time, but didn't need it because these guy are all so well oiled that they could do a match with as little or as much time as you give them. VoladoEuforia pair well and there is an excellent catch by Euforia in this match. The ending stretch arguably tries to do too much with everyone just hitting their signature moves before the 3rd fall. This is a 10 minute match and I think the last 90 seconds is just everyone doing everything. That might not be to everyone's liking, but the crowd was into it and the match was fun.

6.Coyote vs. Magia Blanca(Tuesday)

Best match of Block B. Wasn't the block final like one would hope. Coyote and Magia Blanca have both been around the opening bouts for the last few years. They had a good match here with Coyote mauling Magia for most of the contest. Great rudo work by him on the tecnico in white who would go over here, but basically by a last desperate measure that won him the match by the skin of his teeth. A good contest and hopefully next week's finals are better than this since it will be 2/3 falls instead of just 1st falls.

7.Magia Blanca vs. Principe Diamante(Tuesday)

Not the best match of the block despite being the final. Don't think it's far behind the #6 match, but Magia/Diamante don't really pair off well. They were basically twin looking here. I think a more contrasting finals would have been better like last week when FlyeYago had a very clear face/heel dynamic. That dynamic is missing here and makes this fail to feel as interesting as Blanca vs Coyote earlier in the block.

8.Dalys & Zeuxis vs. Kaho Kobashi & Princesa Sugehit(Monday)

This was a good change of pace from just all the trios. This match has happened before from what I remember, but this is luchadora action with the fat cut out. Nice to get a tag match instead of a trios. It helps break up what they have been doing with them. On Friday Sugehit and Seductora cut promos after their match and made a hair vs hair... that match wasn't very good. Sugehit/Seductora will be having singles luchadora match(apparently hair vs hair) soon... though it might not be better than just a trios match and isn't planned for any of next week's 3 cards.

9.Kraneo, Atlantis & Diamante Azul vs. ingobernables(Rush, Bestia del Ring & El Terrible)(Friday)

Kraneo comes out as a good guy for the first time in CMLL. It's a new dynamic to him and he seems to be the first real story for new ingobernables. We'll see how this goes in the coming weeks. ingobernables seem to hate Kraneo and Rush was a good rudo even powerbombing mascot Cuije onto his chubby pal Kraneo. Not a technical masterpiece, but worth checking out and doesn't overstay its welcome. Not many crazy spots with maybe the exception of Kraneo's splash out of the corner. Him having the big moment of the match too, punctuated his new tecnico status.

10.Templario & Espanto Jr. vs. Flyer & Oro Jr.o(Friday)

Much like how the luchadora tag is a nice change of pace, so is this. It's nice to see Oro Jr. on TV. Flyer and Templario seem to be basically rivals at this point with butting heads the last few weeks and Flyer getting falls over Templario both times. A good opening tag match, not that I don't like Raziel/Cancerbero vs Electrico/Astral. I just don't think they need to meet in the opener every week.
CMLL had a stacked week. I'm certain this tops last week by workrate. I do prefer last weeks new values tournament, but this Friday was much better than lasts despite not expecting much going in. Not sure how next week will look, we'll have to see when we look at the posters at the end of this CMLL Weekly. Here are the highlights from the week.

Super Friday Highlights :
Did you watch CMLL this week? If you skipped out I would suggest Coyote vs Magia from the New Values tournament as a pretty good singles matches, though really the star card from this week was Friday. Each show had a great singles match to watch so those are all must see and the Esfinge/Triton trios match from Friday night was an excellent 15 minutes of trios action. Probably one of the best weeks CMLL has had this year helped by a Friday card that was excellent for the last 70-80 minutes of action.
Monday Arena Puebla Poster
Luchadora match sees Zeuxis swapped for La Comandante which isn't good, however Sanely in for Sugehit will be a nice change of pace. Next match features Pantera Blanca, Gemelos I & II who we rarely see, not sure what to expect from those 3, but the other three are normally solid. Rematch from last week as Lee/Oro/Roja take on NGD again, last week was a bit underwhelming so hopefully they kick it up a notch here. Main Event sees mishmashed teams as Caristico & Atlantis team with rudo Negro Casas and likewise the other team sees Volador Jr. and Valiente team with rudo Terrible. Should be a good main event with all 6 talents being great workers.
Arena Mexico Tuesday Poster
Opener is a minis match like Monday. Next match sees Electrico and friends continue his feud with Raziel and Cancerbero without Astral on his team. Super Astro Jr. seems to be the none official 3rd place in the New Values cup as he is getting booked again on TV. The first person from that tournament who didn't go onto the finals to reappear on TV. Love Audaz and Star Jr. as well who he teams with so this match should be great. My #2 match for this week gets sorta another chapter as Esfinge and Triton take on Kawato and Okumura again with both teams trading for a different 3rd team member. New Value Finals is next and will hopefully be good/great. This is a chance for Flyer and/or Magia to show what they can do, hopefully it doesn't disappoint. Main event see's Caristico again with Dragon Lee and Soberano Jr. vs Euforia, Gran and Rey Bucanero. I feel Bucanero can weigh down matches sometimes, but with these 5 it shouldn't be that much of an issue.
Super Friday Poster
Opening tag has Epanto Jr./Oro Jr. again both trading out partners. Should be good, but feels weird to have Astral in a tag match without his partner Electrico. Yago is showing up again after his performance in block A of the New Values tournament. Panther Bros + Pegasso vs Puma/TigeTemplario could steal the show and will be loads fun. Luchadora match is copy and paste from last week... which is awful since last week wasn't very good. Dragon Lee vs Mistico should be great, hopefully it won't end in a tie. Could see either man winning. Caristico winning seems more likely and could add fuel to his feud with Mistico by beating his younger brother. Volador Jr./Angel de Oro/Niebla Roja vs Negro Casas/Barbaro/Ultimo could be great, lots of top tier talent. Main event is copy and paste which is a little lame. It was at least fun last week so hopefully they can do as good and better this week with that same set up.
Hope You enjoyed CMLL this week, see you next week!

Select Arena Puebla Gifs :
Various gifs from Tuesday's Arena Mexico show.
